AP08 – Virtualizing Citrix XenApp Application Server Session (2009-2-24)

Delivered by Michel Bond & Holger Temme, who are Global Solution Consultants at VMware.
Now that 92% or customers feel confident that mission-critical apps run well on VMware, these have included some of the following in production:

SQL Server
Oracle
IBM DB2
SAP

So there is no reason not to virtualise Citrix XenApp servers.  It is very easy to virtualise everything [...]

ICA File Builder (2008-7-21)

Check out the Smart Citrix Client tool that was written by the guys at Virtual Technologies Software.
A really cool tool that allow fast and simple connection to a MetaFrame Server or a published application and to export the connection to an ICA file.
Works perfectly with lots of customisable options:

Display Settings
Local Devices
ICA Cache

Citrix On VMware! (2008-7-15)

One of my favourtite Blogs is ICT-Freak there is a wealth of information to be found here, some of it in Dutch, some of it English, but all of it awesome.

IBM To Buy Citrix? (2008-4-10)

I have no idea how much creditability this story has, but I suspect that IBM will want to get back into the forefront of virtualisation so could have some legs.
