Nice, This one somehow escaped my toolkit which I like to keep up to date. This new addition will fit ver nas in my kit. Mucho garcia… wait, what?!

I don’t know how this tool had been under my radar as well… too bad you have to enable “permitrootlogin = yes” for it to work. I cant believe they claim to be ESX 3.5 friendly but cant login as a user and elevate to root priveleges, unless Im missing something.

I have been using this app for a long time and to the best of my knowledge it is root only.
Shame I know, but even if you only make a temporary change to allow this, it is worth it for the vmdk renaming functionality alone I think.
