VM-Aware

There is a great article on the Virtual Desktop Blog over at VMware Communities that goes into great detail about how you can better harness any idle VDI power.

Apparently, VMware are considering inviting storage vendors to write plugins to VirtualCenter to allow better interactivity with storage.

Whilst this seems like a logical step, without clarification it would have made some storage management vendors a little nervous. However, VMware seemed to have qualified their end goal, by saying that they just want to amalgamate centralised management, with VirtualCenter becoming the hub.
