Hi, my name is Paul Shannon and I decided to start this blog out of a love of all things virtualisation. If you hadn’t noticed, I’ve done something clever with the title of the blog. Oh yes it is a pun that would make readers of The Sun weep.

I’ve been meaning to do my blog for a very long time, but what prompted to get in to it was coming to VMworld in San Francisco.

My employer has very kindly sent me here, the very least I can do is keep everybody abreast of what is going down in sunny San Fran.

I’ve only just got to the hotel after a particularly arduous plane journey. It amazing how easy it is to get used to the face melting body odour of a 30 stone Russian man when is 2 inches away from you for 11 hours.

Some of you may be thinking that was too much info, well get used to it. I’ll be blogging about anything any everything VMware and virtualisation related.
