FalconStor Virtual Storage
Firstly let me say, that I find the Storage Virtualisation vendors very confusing. I understand the technology and am very keen to start implementing it where appropriate. However, I cannot get a straight answer from any of them on where their competitive advantages are.
What I mean is, they all say “we can do this and they can’t” despite the fact that the “they”, they are talking about told me 2 minutes previously that they can. Clear as mud? Exactly!
However, that said I spoke to the guys at FalconStor and they have a seemingly great product. Here’s an overview:
IPStor Enterprise Edition
